All-on-ImplantsTM  Dental Implants

If you’re missing most or all of your teeth and want a a more long-term, fixed solution that looks and feels more natural, All-on-ImplantsTM  may be the answer. Unlike traditional dentures that can sometimes shift, rub or feel unstable, All-on-ImplantsTM offers a full-arch restoration supported by just four or six strategically placed implants. At Skye Dental, our implant dentistry services with experience, compassion for replacing missing teeth, aim to create a uniquely tailored treatment plan with your needs, preferences and oral health in mind.

What Are All-on-ImplantsTM Dental Implants?

All-on-ImplantsTM is a modern dental solution for patients who have lost all or most of their teeth in either the upper or lower jaw. The procedure involves placing four to six titanium implants into the jawbone, and may be considered in situations such as multiple tooth loss, advanced gum disease, tooth decay, or when dentures are no longer suitable. These implants support a full-arch fixed prosthesis (bridge), sometimes allowing patients to leave with new teeth often on next day of surgery.

Like all procedures, there are risks such as infection, implant failure and the need for further treatment. Recovery may take several months to allow the implants to fuse to the bone, and a strict follow up care is essential.

Key Benefits of All-on-ImplantsTM

Immediate Functionality

All-on-ImplantsTM sometimes allows for immediate loading of a temporary prosthesis, meaning patients can speak, smile, and eat soft foods soon after the procedure.

Fewer Implants, Faster Recovery

Surgery time is reduced, and healing tends to be faster and usually more comfortable.

Stable and Natural Look

Unlike removable dentures, All-on-ImplantsTM restorations are fixed in place, often providing improved chewing stability.

Cost-Effective for Full-Arch Replacement

Using fewer implants to support a full arch reduces costs compared to placing individual implants for each missing tooth.

Who Is a Good Candidate for All-on-ImplantsTM?

This treatment is usually ideal for patients who:

Tick

Have multiple missing or failing teeth

Tick

Struggle with loose or uncomfortable dentures

Tick

Have sufficient bone in the front of the jaw (or want to avoid bone grafting)

Tick

Are in good general health and want a long-term solution

If you’ve been told you’re not a candidate for traditional implants due to bone loss, All-on-ImplantsTM may still be a viable option. A comprehensive consultation and 3D imaging at Skye Dental will help determine your suitability. Individual outcomes vary. This treatment is not suitable for everyone, and a comprehensive assessment is done to explain potential risks and considerations.
